Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Nimbus Meet ("Nimbus", "we") builds video conferencing software designed to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains what we process, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create a workspace — your name, work email and organisation — and basic technical data needed to route a call, such as your browser type and approximate region.

Meeting content

We do not store audio or video from your meetings. Media is relayed between participants and discarded when a call ends. When end-to-end encryption is enabled, we cannot access the media at all. Recordings, if you enable them, are written to storage you control.

How we use information

  • To provide and maintain the service and route your calls.
  • To secure accounts and detect abuse.
  • To send essential service notices. We do not sell your data.

Data retention

Signalling metadata is retained only as long as needed to place a call and is deleted within minutes of the session ending. Account records are kept until you delete your workspace.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@nimbusmeet.io and we'll respond within 30 days.
